39986

There are many definitions floating around for the word “introvert.”  Personally, I think of an introvert simply a person who struggles with social interaction. As an introvert myself, I  would rather have a root canal than face a new social situation. But for Christian introverts, the struggle is even more intense because of one key aspect of our lives.

They did it again. My Colombian in-laws wrangled me into a day in the great outdoors.

“THE LORD TOLD ME…” OH, REALLY?

Pippin, his Playa name, chats on the phone with God during the Burning Man 2013 arts and music festival in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada

She had prayed for a long time that God would bring her a husband, and now, because she was convinced God had spoken to her, she knew this was the man.

Then came the blow. Continue reading ““THE LORD TOLD ME…” OH, REALLY?”

Everyone makes mistakes. Everyone has regrets. All people, when looking back over their life choices, wish that they could go back and make changes that would alter the outcome of those choices.

As a homeschool mom who recently finished educating her last child, I have spent a great deal of time reflecting on my homeschool experience. I’ve thought somewhat about the good things I’ve done, but mostly I’ve thought about my mistakes, the things I wish I could go back and improve in my children’s educational experience.
